Ensaladang Mangga ($9.50) is basically mango salad with sambal chilli. The mango cubes were sweet but I am not used to eating sambal and fruits together.
Adobong Baboy ($17.50) aka braised pork. The gravy was rich in flavour and went well with rice ($1.50 per serving). However, it was served semi-cold and the pork belly was very tough.
Halo-halo ($6.50) came highly recommended by the waiter. This chendol-like dessert using evaporated milk was rather weak in taste.
7107 has quite a nice decor (I played around with this photo a bit since I am bored and home-ridden this week). However, I did not enjoy my meal. Did we order the wrong dishes? Where in Singapore can I go for a good pinoy meal? Any dishes to recommend? I need help.

how i wish i could have watched the Berlin Philarhomic perform live! i have not tried fillipino cuisine but i've heard good reviews about Bonifacio at kreta ayer road.
Haha, and I just posted a write-up on Pinoy food! Bonifacio at Kreta Ayer Road is pretty good in my opinion. If you go there, do try their range of sisig, the very crispy pork knuckles and the dessert cakes.
Stargirl: :) ya am fortunate enough to hear them. I am sure you will too. Bonifacio here I come!
Daniel: Hey Daniel your photos of Bonifacio are great! That makes 2 votes for that place. Bonifacio here I come!
